About

They say “When you are in pink, it means you are in love”. This is the reason why we call this place “Lapin en Rose”.

Hi, my name is Fleur. I am a rabbit living in a kitchen of the girl who does not want to be named in the public.

She is my friend, my family and sometime my slave (don’t tell her, it’s my super-secret LoL.) We met each other in Paris years ago…..while she was opening her mouth tasting éclair. Umm…, I think I’d better cut my story short……

...Since then, we become baking partners so our kitchen is always full of smell of freshly baked goods and scent of spices.

We created this blog to share our passion and hope you enjoy your visit.
Please read below if you would like to know more about us. ^_^

Thank you for dropping by.

xoxo
loads of bunny kisses,
Fleur

OUR PÂTISSERIE

Lapin en Rose (literally translated to "Bunny or Rabbit in Pink”) began in 2011 with a focus on the nostalgic French pastry, Chou à la crème or a cream puff. We slowly expanded our selections into pies, tarts, and mini cakes. Now, we enjoy working on a variety of baked goods as a multidisciplinary baking atelier. We take pride in helping people, kids and grown-ups, discover sweet side of their life and develop connections among others through tasting and sharing our creations.

OUR VALUES

At Lapin en Rose we believe in the little things, in small gestures that make a big impact. We try our best to select the ingredients that contain artificial additives as little as possible. All pastries are carefully handmade one by one from scratch. Our determined philosophy is to create delectable products with minimal disturbance to the environment. Through simple, homemade sweet treats, we aim to inspire everyday delights and help others spread joy.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY SLAVE Oops….MY FRIEND

Although my friend does not like being exposed in cyberspace, I think it would be nice to say something brief about her in our blog.

Her parents raised her to appreciate the power of small gestures, always pointing out to the hidden funny side of everyday life and introducing her to little friends living in the backyard. Since childhood, she has been drawn to small things – a miniatures collection, petit fours, small animals (rabbit (of course!!!), deer, and squirrel in particular) – and her professional life has likewise focused on the details.

Born and raised in Bangkok, she left home for London to pursue her study in the major far apart from baking. During that time, she travelled a lot, and Paris was one of her destinations. It was there, inspired by Parisian culture, that she began falling in love with French pastry. In 2007 she returned to Bangkok to work in financial industry and started baking as a hobby. After a lot of giveaways and small orders from friends and family, she decided to start a place that fosters homemade creation and celebration – not just for the special occasions, but also for everyday pleasures.
